GirlieReview Mother's Day Giveaway

This is the first of 2 giveaways I'm going to have during the month of May.

This giveaway will run from May 1 to Mother's Day (in the US, which is Sunday May 13).

Here are the goodies for the Mother's Day Giveaway:


The items are:

1 set of Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencils
1 Stila Living the Life in Laguna palette
1 POP Goddess Clutch palette
1 Travel Size Lavanila Healthy Deodorant in Vanilla Lavender
1 Jack Black Lip Balm with SPF 25 in Natural Mint





I've had a set of these in my makeup stash for a couple of months and I LOVE them.  They are so handy!  They go on so easily and they have phenomenal wear times.  I'll admit that I mostly use the neutral shades in the center, but I have worn both the purple and blue as well.




The Stila Living the Life in Laguna palette contains 4 "beachy" shadows and 2 blushes.






The Goddess Clutch palette from POP Beauty contains 8 shadows, 1 blush, 1 gloss and 1 highlighter.



Lavanila Healthy Deodorant in Vanilla Lavender.  It's the travel/trial size, not the full size, but it's still a good amount of product and definitely enough to make a determination on whether or not you like it.


Last, but not least, the Jack Black lip balm with SPF 25.  The flavor is Natural Mint & Shea Butter.

You must be 18 years of age to enter because I will need your shipping information if you win.  The winners will be contacted via email or twitter DM (so make sure you have a way for me to contact you).  You can sign up for the contest until midnight EST on Sunday 5/13/12.  The winner will be contacted by 5/14/12.  Winners will have 48 hours to respond.  If there’s no response, the goodies will go back in the pool for a future giveaway.

All prizes are complements of me and my J-O-B.

The contest is open internationally.  Be aware that my parcel tracking abilities drop to almost nil if I have to ship outside the U.S.  Just consider yourselves forewarned.

    1. I commented before trying to enter haha so I didn't see your question!
      My mother is horrible to buy for, she's so fussy! I got her some BB cream to try as she's out in the sun a lot and I made up a little cosmetic bag of very simple cosmetics for day to day use!

  9. Spend time with her - take her out for Afternoon Tea at a nice Tea House or Hotel in your area. It won't cost too much, and she will appreciate the gesture!

  13. What I did was shift through all my extra samples and dupes and created a birchbox-like box for my mom. I rounded it out with a few other small purchases.

  22. This year I bought my Mom a clairsonic. Her birthday is so close to Mother's Day so I'm buying her that for both. Normally tho I buy something for her yard or perfume. It's what she loves.

  39. I love to give my mom a make-up or beautyproduct but also a self-made present, just to make it personal. This year I bought a glass storage container (don't know if this is the correct word for it, a glass jar with a lid), and will fill this with the (exact amount of) ingredients for a delicious cake or applepie. So first the flour, than the sugar, raisins etc. etc., so you get layers. I will seal the jar with a ribbon and add a little cute note. And of course the recipe :). The jar will look funny and nice in the kitchen, and it's a great excuse for baking and spending lovely time with your mom.

  46. I know my mom likes getting candles, hand lotions (like from Crabtree & Evelyn, especially the gardener set), perfume, and homemade baked goods. Or just take her out to eat! :)

    Its not easy to pick the perfect gift.. I'm sure she has enough make up and all this beauty products. What she could really use is a nice home made album with lots of pictures of your family. She will be excited, that's for sure :)
